Our Story & Legacy
My late father Robert Ngarimu Fraser (Ngati Kahungunu/Ngati Porou) - Freightways Napier fleet number #134 drove trucks for decades back in my home town of Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.

This truck pictured an International Acco 3070 powered with a Cummins V903 and Eaton 15 speed Roadranger was a unit he had for quite sometime and clocked up many a million in it along the way.
​
The second pic was Dad's Volvo F1223 which was a complete change in driving experience from the raw hardcore International and incidentally my brother Bruce took over as an owner driver for Freightways. He drove this for a few years then traded it for a new 400hp Scammell S26.

I learnt so much from Dad during his time as a truck driver and believe it was destiny that I find myself working in a career today that encompasses the heavy transport industry.
